I imagine Ashton are lurking on line, digesting Robyeltz's detailed analysis of FCUM game, maybe Mr.
Hill will outthink them with the 3-3-3-1 he played against Curzon Ashton or possibly the
revolutionary 2-3-5 formation of ex Villa manager Mr.Taylor( was that Graham or Dick?)
WAS that Aston or Pelsall Villa?the plot thickens.... ???

It would never happen today of course, but Dick Taylor later owned a small sports shop on a corner of Witton Road not far from Villa Park.

Dick was a lovely man but was the sole supplier of rugby shirts for my school and every single year he was totalled amazed by the fact that 90-odd new 1st Formers would want a rugby shirt in September. I don't believe it ever occurred it him to place an order with suppliers earlier in the year.
