Lets make some noise!

Post by beastyyeltz » 13 Sep 2013, 15:32

Since my last topic about getting some atmosphere created a lot of discussion, I feel it's time we turned words into action. I was thinking we should all meet up in the shed, bring our singing voices, and get behind the team, make some noise. I don't know if anybody wants to do it tomorrow or next week's game (although I unfortunately can't make it next week).

I think what may have pushed me into finally doing this was the fact a Stourbr*dge fan on the facebook page I am admin for called the West Midlands Non League Football Page had said "In all the years of following non league Halesowen fans are some of the quietest around". So not only would I love to see a cracking atmosphere down the grove but this Stour fan has made this personal ;) .

Also mentioned in the previous topic, the players would love it if we got behind them and made some noise for them and could possiblyinfluence things on the pitch. Not only is it good for the players but it would (in my opinion) make the game more enjoyable if we all sang together and made the most of the game. So what do you say, shall we all meet up -tomorrow or next week- in the shed and make some noise and get behind the team?

Yeah Sam, wouldn't it be better behind the dugouts? Spreads the sound across more of the pitch and the management can hear us loud and clear as well.

Just an idea.

I agree about being behind the dug outs to make some noise. I like being on the half way line as it gives a better perspective of the game. You can usually hear me, I'm the one with the big mouth!

I tell you what if we have weather match day like we have had today, the shed will be rammed the 2nd half if not both, that could be a blessing in disguise, everyone will have to stand together then ! I bet there will be loads of noise then, why don't we just pretend every home game it's raining !

So then, tomorrow shall we all meet up behind the dug outs (or the shed if its raining?) ? If so, if you don't know me I'm the lanky blond kid with a very loud mouth! Look out for me ;) also it would be good if we got as many people singing as possible, so apart from AVFC and dazza, anybody else?

It seemed like more than 222.. I agree about the atmosphere as well. Where were the singers?
