Great result, shame everyone else won. Playoffs guaranteed now. Well done all. Looking forward to Monday. Back to the White Horse now for me. Happy Easter to one and all

We've had more than enough chances to capitalise from our promotion rivals dropping points over the last few weeks but we've squandered that opportunity.

I'm happy with the play-offs, and think that's a little above par for the season, without going into overachieving territory. But I can't help but feel some form of frustration at our lack of winning in the big games when we really needed to.

What a chance to get promoted out of this league. I don't think we'll ever have a better chance, and it's been well and truly blown. Whilst winning the league was never my expectation in August, the league really did fall into our lap. It was ours for the taking, as I'm sure Bedford, Kettering and Telford can all say.

Obviously we have a second chance in the play-offs, but it's a very tough ask. If we can't beat the likes of St Ives, Barwell or Alverchurch (with respect to those sides) in fairly high pressured games where wins would have seen us grab the initiative in the title race, then I don't really have much confidence in us beating Telford or Kettering away in a Play Off semi final.

I know this may get a few posts calling me a miserable sod, but that's how I feel.

I'm genuinely happy with us being in the play-offs, and I do believe we have the ability to go and win them. I just don't have confidence and a real frustration due to how the season has played out. We'll have to see, at least it's exciting.

Spot on post Josh. Unfortunately not there today but that appears a great win. Again we've proved we CAN do it but have fallen short too often. I hope we don't end up having to win 2 away games to go up but I think it could be the case.

Can I just add, that our run of form is good, and those 3 draws on the trot, whilst damaging to the title push, were points not to be sniffed at in isolation. It doesn't stop it being frustrating, btw.

If we do need to win away two games running, so be it. I quite fancy getting promoted away to Stamford. I feel like we owe them a humiliating defeat - just to get one over that little poisoned dwarf of a manager.

To get promoted AWAY at Stamford would need us to finish 5th though, and for us both to win tough away games in the semis. Can't see that happening.

...or do you mean you can still see us winning the title? ;)

I don't need that sort of logic tonight, thank you ;D

I was gonna reply with a hard no. But the way this season has gone I wouldn't be surprised to see Bedford lose their last two and let us all have hope.
