So, who's is it?

Post by andy » 15 Mar 2025, 18:02

All the top 7 have very mixed run ins. All have to play others at the top and all have potentially easy games ( and we know what can happen in those😂🙄). The one set fixtures that stand out for me is Kettering's. If they come through their next 3 unscathed (Alvechurch, Telford and Stamford) they then have far the easiest run in of anybody. Though if they couldn't beat Lowestoft today, who knows. We definitely have the hardest finish (Telford and Stamford) but we might have won it by then.😁 So, basically not a clue. Don't know why I even started writing it....

Don't know!

It's going down to the last game of the season, and about 4 teams will be top of the table at some point in the final 90 mins, isn't it?

Kettering are imploding. Losing players, and today their manager has offered to fight their fans on the pitch, by the sounds of it!

Honestly… I just have a slight feeling that it’ll be us… perhaps that’s hopeful optimism but you just sometimes get that gut feeling

I spent half an hour yesterday shouting at ChatGPT until it decided it would be us. Conclusive proof.

Hopefully we can do it but I think Telford are a bit of a jinx to us and that match will be our downfall allowing Telford to nick it.
Our luck against them has to change at some stage though hopefully that time is coming up

Though my heart obviously says us, I'm edging towards Telford as well. I really can't see anybody putting a run together now, but if they do I suspect they will win it by a mile. I think there will be many twists and turns yet and probably a very close finish.

Just want to let RP know that it really hurts when someone wins the title on your patch. Still can't forget Kettering lifting the trophy at ours in 2019, and I'm sure Platty can't either.

So the last thing would be for Telford to do it at ours on Easter Monday.... Can't be having that happen again otherwise I'm definitely chucking my eggs out of the basket 🙆

But imagine if we nick the title at Stamford...🙏
My money is on a home playoff semi in all honesty and I'd be happy with that right now 💙
