People on here noting the Stour team applauding their fans, it really was hilarious. Apparently only sold 475 and I reckon 425 had left before their team got down there.๐Ÿ˜‚

I think they were some kind of moronic hologram. Someone pulled the plug at full time and, whoosh, they were gone...

Well. Much better second half. What knuckle draggers they bring though.
I wouldn't knock their lot after some of the 'extras' I saw frequenting our end this afternoon. No nastiness though so all good. Just apparent that brain cell distribution amongst the population is very random.
Oh without a doubt we pull some clowns in too, and have said so before. I just thought the abuse meted out to the u14's...I mean children ffs, was disgraceful. As well as the bottles being lobbed on the pitch after our goals. Read on their Fakebook page, they kicked off in the bus stop to the point one of their long standing fans isnt going to this fixture anymore. I think thats really sad. Two game wonders spoil this fixture imho.

What a game! Just settling down to my first pint of the night and feeling exhausted to be honest. After an awful first half it seems we actually realised that pointless long balls were getting us absolutely nowhere. Much brighter second half and great substitutions got us over the line. A fantastic atmosphere and makes me realise how much I love non league football over the boring, turgid over priced rubbish that the Albion ever served up. Great Post match interviews by both managers and a thoroughly enjoyable game of football. Have a great evening, folks! UTY

Tbf the pitch doesn't help
I've seen far far worse pitches than that this season. Considering the amount of rain that's fallen on it this season I think the club has done a great job with it.

I wasnt knocking the ground staff or anything just pointing out that a lot of balls bobbled noticeably and players slipping

The take away from today should be how fantastic a team we've got who appear in it together whatever. Stour didn't look like that at all

They dragged us down to their level for about an hour. Then we made some changes and after that it was a matter of a time.

I know mate - wasn't knocking you for knocking! You're right in the sense that it seemed slippy and myself and my son noticed last week against Alvechurch that it was cutting up in huge clumps. Despite that I still think it's a playable surface. I still think we play better bobbles and all than these bloody frustrating long punts to nowhere!

Mention for the referee yesterday who I thought had a really good game.
Understood the intensity of the fixture and the conditions and wasnt sucked in by players falling over looking for free kicks.

I presume due to the size of the fixture he usually officiates at a higher level but certainly much better than what we get most weeks
