Apparently yesterday was our first 0 - 0 since August 2023.
Any clues as to the fixture?
A game we definitely deserved to win. Telford away.

At what point do we agree that KD is a striker? I'd suggest we're well beyond that point.

Let's say we signed a couple of forwards, would you drop him/play him at right back, (his alleged position, apparently!)? The answer should be a resounding no. He is our best forward, and I'd argue the best forward we've had since Ben Haseley.

I get your point. I guess being old I remember centre forwards as they were. Big, strong players that would hold the ball up, win headers in the box and generally be a nuisance. KD is not that sort of player. Leave him up top on his own and there is little that sticks when balls are lumped forward. KD is great at what he does, scoring goals, so yes he is a 'striker', but in my mind not a centre forward.

....I guess we could go the Barca route, if we had another 5 KD's, and completely changed our style of play. :D

Spot on Josh. How can we be calling out for a striker when we have the league top scorer ?

I'm not saying I don't want to see us sign a striker. KD will no doubt find himself suspended before the end of the season ;D or if he gets injured, then what?

Look at what Ponticelli brought to us. It's been a long time since I've seen a single player make such a big difference. Before he came, and since he left I believe we've looked like a team that will challenge for the top 5, which is still a strong season. However, with him we looked capable of challenging for the title. I don't think that's realistic now, but my point is - that's the difference signing a very good player can make.

I've absolutely no idea what the conditions of his contract with Tamwuff are, or his personal circumstances etc, but given the lack of minutes he's getting I'd be going all out to get him back. If that was to happen, and it may be near impossible, I'd firmly believe we would have a real chance of automatic promotion.

Totally agree with this Josh 👇

Strikers always work better in pairs for me.... I've seen KD isolated lately as was Miracle when his goals dried up. I'm all for improving their overall game but Ponts was a good foil for KD.

Also history tells us that partnerships up top work...
Remember Shearer and Sutton, Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke,
Henry and Bergkamp, Rush and Dalglish, Suarez and Sturridge... any more to add? Or any non league double acts?🫢
