Ponticelli has played a combined total of about 17 minutes since going there. No way on God’s earth that gets him back into full time football; I’d be surprised if he wasn’t on the move one way or another.

Small margins overall: Telford ‘foul’ not given or keeper sent off = potentially different outcome; Cameron scores the sitter yesterday = potentially different outcome; Ceesay doesn’t go mad against Bedford = potentially different outcome. I know if my auntie had balls and all that, but even still.

Realistically I can’t see us winning it - we can’t compete with Telford or Kettering in terms of budget, but all isn’t lost if we can be a bit more clinical. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we come away from Kettering with anything (our record in these type of games in recent years is frankly horrible - Chasetown, Corby, Berkhamsted, Ilkeston, Telford… the list feels endless) but grounds for optimism.

An outbreak of common sense here 👍very thin margins Nobody is hammering us and while that remains there is hope

League form from Jan 1st '96 to the season end -
P22 W 16 D 5 L 1.

That would do it I guess.
