You can see how far we"ve come by how their players and fans treated us as a big threat. Feel gutted that we conceded so late and that the halftime goal somehow didn't go in but overall think we did ourselves proud.

Partial downer though: 1400 away fans is great but wonder how many will be at the next home game.
At least we gave a good account of ourselves… they’re far more likely to show up given the performance.

The combination of a local derby and the absence of Premier League and Championship games really contributed to the support today.

It was the kind of game that would attract casual fans and a crowd of nearly 4,000 is phenomenally good.

Considering two of the best players were out, we did really well and it was unfortunate not to have had a go at a shoot-out after the effort and the performance.

Magnificent effort. You kind of felt the winner was coming, but for it to come in injury time was cruel. I felt for so much of the game we matched them all over the park and we never resorted to lumping it to relieve any pressure. Every player was looking for a pass and even if It never came off, we persevered. It really was a pleasure to watch. Perversely we probably played better than we might have by having Donnelly out. The 5 in midfield never gave Kiddy an inch, and though it meant Ponticelli was on his own, which is not ideal, boy did he put in a shift. That said I can't wait to have him back in next week! All in all, great performance at a great ground in front of a great crowd. Unlucky lads!

Ryan Wollacotts best performance in a Halesowen shirt and a very close second for man of the match, in my opinion.
Halesowen very, very unlucky not to be in the hat for the next round! Onwards......

Yes, commented to HH during a break in his Supergrass set, that Wynter was given one hell of an examination by their No 9, but was very much up to the task, and that we should expect the dreaded, “7DNoA” on Monday….

Also immense. One block he put in during the 2nd half was spectacular.

Agree with all previous posts, fantastic game to watch, great performance from everyone and very unlucky to loose so late on..well done to all…. And what a fabulous stadium, great standing and seating all undercover, pitch was beautiful, large flat and great surface to play on, fantastic floodlights….. really enjoyed the day out…. On the negative side £7 to park in the car park, no where else to park , and £2.70 for a tea bag and a cup full of hot water..!!! Shocking for this level of football….. looking forward to next week… hopefully playing the same brand of football…..well done all, enjoy a well deserved beer tonight…

I dont think you can read too much into travelling fans tbh. Always gonna be hangers on, glory fans. If you remember 300 plus at home was the norm a short time ago, just be glad we have that extra support.
