Re: New signing.
The team is crying out for a big, goalscoring forward to play along Miracle, and a creative shithouse midfielder and he signs yet another defender. Wah.

Re: New signing.
I, too, would like to have see a big, no-nonsense forward come in - but a brick sh*thouse, defensive midfielder is also the type of player that will give us some 'bite.'

Re: New signing.
Does seem a strange one to me as well. Who's going to give way for him? We are now relying on MaraDonnelly to be our striking threat (and I have to say he is making a good fist of it), but surely, if anywhere, that is the area that needs strengthening.

Re: New signing.
They say defensive midfielder
Hope it doesnt put Parker /Haywood at risk as they have been our best 2 players for me this season.
Sure the Gaffer has his plans but be interesting to see Saturdays line up now.

Re: New signing.
My thoughts for what it is worth - formation change time, three big centre halves, for one to counter set piece headers etc. Five midfielders (or four with one probably behind them - likely Parker), leaving Miracle plus one up front.
I'll be at Stratford to see how wrong I am!

Re: New signing.
I think that Hayward has been carrying an injury over the last few games - hence him being subbed a couple of times.
The new lad will bolster the midfield and, dare I say it, add some shithousery to our sometimes less than physical mindset.

Or perhaps the reason he was not on the bench on Saturday.YeltzDoc wrote: ↑28 Feb 2024, 20:05And au revoir.lutleyyeltz wrote: ↑31 Jan 2024, 10:08FB_IMG_1706696291502.jpghttps://www.ht-fc.co.uk/first-team-news

Re: New signing.
Possibly already in hand before the managerial change. Perhaps he wasn't happy at being asked to play right back. Leaves us short of options though as Taylor will be suspended.
