Re: Bromsgrove (part 2)
Much better second half and back to the team we know. Hayward again was brilliant, more so when Hawks was subbed off. Not sure we've seen the best of Hawker yet if Im honest, certainly not the driving force he was anyhoo.
Bromsgrove man marked Miracle and made it difficult, so the pen came at the right time. My worry is every team will do that and take him out the game.
But pleased with that second half and win.

Better second half for sure. Quite a long way from where we know we can be, but happy to grind out the win.

Still no goal from a corner. A lack of delivery, a lack of height, poorly set up, or just unlucky?

Re: Bromsgrove (part 2)
Poor game…lacking in quality from both sides…. But in a cup game the result is everything and we’re in the draw for the next round…can’t believe how they beat us in the league, on that performance!!! The back four looked solid, nice to see ezwelle back in the starting eleven.. not a great deal of football played going forward and we did use the long ball quite a few times, but for a change it actually worked, with Miracle actually making a good run and getting control of the ball… but had little or no support to do anything with it…. Not a lot of chances made today, but Miracle should have had at least a hat trick, missing two glorious chances and he has to up his chance to goal ratio….. midfield looked ok defensively, but lacked in attacking options today, with jack not being at his best ! And agree with previous post , that Hawker doesn’t look the player he was…. He doesn’t look fit or be the in your face player he used to be…. Shame because he was fantastic before he left ….. Another great away following, looking forward to next game …

It is a problem with Hawker. He hardly featured pre season because of injury, but obviously needs games to bring up his fitness
