Bloody hell. What an opportunity for him. Might be why he looked a bit distracted in his last couple of games.

I thought we were incredibly poor today. The lineup was odd, the formation didn’t work, and the substitutions were a bit confusing. Some very poor individual performances too.

There are positives to draw on, but they cover up the fact that we just weren’t at it and look miles off a team trying to win the league. We seem laboured and disorganised.

Also, I’ve never known a ref be so close to getting lynched than today. When he gave that goal kick instead of the corner the whole stand went bananas. He had a shocker.

Funny thing is I was coming back from the loo at that point and was two yards away. He actually got that one right!
