A bloke who I work with who lives near Loughborough tells me that Shepshed is a very pious little town. Not many people know, but apparently
The Lord is From Shepshed. You learn something new every day.

We signed an attacking midfielder from Shephed some time ago by the name of Kirk Master. I was surprised to find it was 20 years ago!
He's now a Labour Counciller fro Leicester City Council and is still involved with non-league football. Good player he was too, although he didn't stay with us that long.

Great player Kirk but a strict Muslim and Ramadan played havoc with his performances. Really nice bloke who appeared at one of our matches before lockdown
