Be interesting to see if we sign any of the youngsters we've got from last season.

Re: New signing
So by my reckoning its Holmes, Smith, White and the under 21's who are still not signed or moved on?
3 great signings these. I think all of them will kick on from last seasons performances and really bring things to the team.
Things starting to look really promising

Re: New signing
Based on Twitter conversations I’ve seen and reading between the lines it would appear that Rich Smith is still with us, or at least still training with our new signings. Based on his performances from when he joined us I can’t say that I would be overly excited about having him for another season, however to try and put a brave spin on things if he is to be with us, maybe a full pre season under his belt and seeming to know some of the new signings already, maybe the best of him is yet to come and can prove us wrong?

If I were to come in too early with my season's prediction it may damage my highly regarded reputation on these matters..andy wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 10:49Ooh wait for it Lutters. Give the bloke a chance Lutters - at least 10 minutes into the first friendly

Re: New signing
Rich Smith would undoubtedly be a backup striker, behind the three that are already signed up. I think I’d rather have a youth teamer - Palmer? Funge? - as the spare and they’d presumably be a bit cheaper with wages too.

Re: New signing
Darlaston were after Palmer, but apparently there is something in players’ contracts that if we match the previous year’s wage, we can withhold their registration. My understanding is that we didn’t allow him to move there on that basis, but usual caveats apply - could be total bullshit!
