Gutted I didn’t bump into Phil Wood Saturday. I was his biggest fan, in fact his only fan. Scored at Newport to no avail in 96. The night he trod dog S**t in my car after an away game at Atherstone cemented my appreciation for him. What an honour! A class act and top bloke.
