Drummyb, as regards Evo, definitely as good as any player we have. Never seems to have a poor game.

Though I do hope he still goes and enjoys it now.piearce9 wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 19:05Can’t argue with any of this. Where’s Yeltz27 when you need him?fairweatherfan wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 18:33I actually thought we played pretty well, given they’re a good side. Think we created five gilt edged chances, which against a team right up there is a decent return.
I’ve thought we’ll go up all season and seen nothing today that makes me think otherwise (quite the opposite in fairness). If we beat Ilson in a fortnight, happy days.
On a completely different note, the behaviour of some of their children at the final whistle was a smidgen embarrassing, but suppose it goes with the territory.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Rob Evans, the non league's equivalent of Des Walker! Hopefully with his own chant of "You'll never beat Rob Evans" . He, for me, leaves everything on the pitch, EVERY TIME.

Absolutely spot on. An honest, 100% every game player. Absolute pleasure to watch him play.410viawednesbury wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:38I've said it before and I'll say it again Rob Evans, the non league's equivalent of Des Walker! As someone who works in urology, I hope he passes water better than he passes the ball.
But, that’s why he’s a player at our level.
And a bloody good one at that.

A few other asides Inthe the Trophy today.
1 Why did some games go to extra time?
2 Our next opponents, Loughborough lose 3-6 to Khalsa
3 Coleshill's attendance. 74. Joke.
