Crutch attack
We wasn’t able to attend the match last night but I followed the game on Twitter.
I read that a fan tried to hit a Carlton player with a crutch, was this true?

Re: Crutch attack
Yep, this happened. Possibly the most bizarre incident I've seen at a football match.
I'm not defending the actions of the supporter in question, but the incident wouldnt have occurred if their number ten wasn't cheating, and feigning injury.
I'm aware all players, and all teams feign injury to waste time, but the length of time that lad was down took the absolute biscuit.

I honestly don't know. I don't know how these things work. But I imagine if Carlton felt strong enough about the incident, they could report it to the league, or even the FA?
Then who knows, possible fine?
There will be folks on here, who know more about the process than I.

Solely down down to the referees report I believe … on a brighter note that must have been the slowest fan eviction in history … they could hardly walk as Ferret lead them through the standAwayDayYeltz wrote: ↑15 Sep 2021, 16:10I honestly don't know. Ah, let's not advertise problems for ourselves, it's going too well. Let's just file it under 'larks'.

Perhaps the item wasn't 'thrown' - more like slipped out of her hand as a late night wasp sought to attack!
