Guess The Yeltzman
Currently reading Jon Purdie’s autobiography, available here - https://jonpurdie.co.uk/ - and, whilst the Booker Prize committee aren’t on the phone, it’s a good read, very honestly written, and has a lot of references to former Yeltzmen plus loads of other footballing and cultural references that anyone with a passing interest in ‘90s Midlands football will remember fondly.
Anyhoo, about a dozen or more of our old boys get a shout-out but I couldn’t help noticing that this was undoubtedly another former player of ours, and a quick Google confirms that indeed he was there at about that time.
No names, no pack drill obvs….

I’m pretty certain he had a spell at Telford but fell out of favour and was loaned out before a transfer to Gloucester ? Chippenham? … somewhere down that wayHalesowenHarry wrote: ↑09 Sep 2021, 10:00not having that, it was just the smell of a Vileda on his head, though don't think it was him as he didn't play for Telford did he? stumped me that has

Re: Guess The Yeltzman
Just mailed Jon Purdie and he replied that we Yeltz fans have a good knowledge of local non-league characters....
