Re: Daventry Updates
The undoubted highlight.
Looked like their boss said something to the ref and by the time they’d nearly got to the tunnel, it was enough for marching orders.
The manager took a couple of paces towards the dressing rooms then changed his mind and made a beeline for the ref, I suspect with murderous intent.
Unusual times call for unusual heroes.
Ferret positioned all 4’11” of his mighty frame between them and gave their irked gaffer the send off, gesturing to the stands with the aplomb of Collina in his prime.
What larks.

Re: Daventry Updates
The only contentious issue I can think off to enrage a man to Hulk like levels, was the throw in. Which really wasnt that big a deal. Truly bizarre.
Very good performance in awful conditions. Well played boys.

Re: Daventry Updates
It was.
I’m sure I saw on Twitter that there was some sort of food bank collection going on at the game, and so at £2.35 for the two, thought I’d do my bit to hurry along the beatification of Marcus Rashford MBE.
But then there wasn’t, so I was just left with two cans of tuna sat looking rather incongruous in the rain. We didn’t even lose, so I was also robbed of the chance to use them as missiles to express my displeasure.

Re: Daventry Updates
Good result in tough conditions.
Not a classic but all players put in a shift.
Thought Ali and Forsyth had their best games this season.
Any idea if Holmes was injured? A small player with his skill would have helped I think unlocking them a few more times.
Only critisism is we need to get more players into the box as we put some dangerous crosses in but no one in there to capitalise.
Still job done and 3 more points on the board
