No I get that, especially some of the older guys that attend. But hey if my mom, at 76, can use Fakebook, and order shopping, theres hope for everyone....and she's bliddy hopeless on a pc. Unfortunately the world has moved on from the Luddites and cotton mills...I guess its just another way of making sales and nearly everyone knows someone who can use a Commodore 64andy wrote: ↑17 Sep 2020, 20:46Smashing bloke. Unfortunately your capabilities on the computing machine will not be shared by all of our fans. I think me and Westy may even be up in the B+/A- bracket compared to some. Fun and larks ahead I think. Poor Dave.....drummyb wrote: ↑17 Sep 2020, 20:17I spoke to him a couple of days ago. Thoroughly personable bloke, I have to say. These are strange times. I was cheesed of the other day, now Im not. I guess there isnt a way to please everyone, although I do think online is a better way to do it. It is 2020 after all.

Re: Tickets
I went and collected my 1st flexi ticket in the week.
A little back ground, I’ve had a season ticket at The Blues for the last 23 years and attend about 10 away games a season.
I started coming to games last season, Altrincham being my 1st and then attend a further 7 games mainly midweek as Yeltz games tend to clash with The Blues games. The Bedford 6-0 I think was my favourite.
I really enjoyed my visits last season hence why I brought the flexi, I might struggle to attend 9 games along with my other commitments but didn’t mind supporting the club in way of a few quid. I also want to attend as many games as I can during restrictions.
Whilst I know it’s hard for the club to try and please everyone with the restricted capacity, in reserving space for all ST & FT holders this could lead to fans not being able to go if say I choose not to attend a match but I’m still counted as 1 of the 400.
Is their a way in which I could notify the club to say I won’t be attending a certain match maybe?
Anyway sorry for the long winded post, really looking forward to Saturdays match now and a great season for The Yeltz.

Re: Tickets
There’s an app the club can sign up to through which you can order like this. We used it at my cricket club this summer. It caused me stress and had an annoying computer generated American accent.
That said, I actually think something like that would be pretty useful for the bar in the JG Lounge- order your beer at 3.35, get a notification it’s ready at 3.38, stroll round and grab it (no queues out of the door) and happy days.

Re: Tickets
Must be. I can't ever remember having to buy a ticket in the last 30 years.

Re: Tickets
I have no problem with games being entry by Ticket.
But only being on sale between 3 - 7 on a Friday..... some of us have to work during those hours, so have zero chance of getting a ticket!!!!!
