Oddly, Highgate United are playing at home to Bumsgrove this evening.
Did they pass up on our match for this one?

Maybe they needed a quick home game to allow 30% from 1st September

I guess so, but that's what we were doing, and they seem to have blown us out for Bumsgrove. Unless that fixture was long since pre-arranged, in which case, why did they accept ours?

Anyhoo, it doesn't matter now, we did a great job of scrambling for the first fixture and an even better one of getting a superior replacement at even shorter notice.

Does anyone know if it will be live-streamed this evening?

It may not be on. It's hommering it down, down here, and has been all morning, with the forecast predicting it to carry on all day.

It'll almost be a shame to cut up our billiard table for the sake of a friendly. It's tumbling down.
