So, I'm still having phone problems and I've only just managed to get online. How's it going?

Oh.

As comprehensive a thrashing as the score suggests. A comical defensive performance (almost as funny as the Man of the Match selection) that even a poor team would have grabbed something from, but do that against a good team like Coalville and you'll be punished. Only their 3rd goal - which was excellent - didn't result from an error. I've heard a couple of people say our previous wins flattered us - on this form, they were right.

I don't think I have seen a better review of the match then the last post, my sentiments exactly!

The third goal was a cracker, but apart from that, some hapless defensive mistakes, lack of composure, lack of width, lack of most things to be fair!

They are a newly promoted team , all be it a good one! As said previously, a poor team wouldnt of let 5 past them! Dudley would of give them a game with no budget!

Dear, dear me! We are Very poor!!
Haseley town football club - I think we should be renamed!

Against the form team so

0-6

I jest

1-1 About time Hasely got us a goal
.

Andy, you were pretty near the marK! 8)

Yes, we were totally outclassed - although our effort is to be commended.
A disastrous start from which a team with bags of ability would struggle to recover - and ability is what we haven't got!
A good crowd for a Tuesday night but I think it may be somewhat lower on saturday!

Good away support last night which was nice to see. Not been very many times we saw that last season.

Certainly a better game for our money and encouraging that the Yeltz team never gave up trying. However you cant argue with a 1-5 defeat and blame another poor ref and an obvious penalty for us that he missed. To have got anything out of the game would have been an injustice to Coalville. They were very determined and organised (even in the pre-match warm up you could see the difference) and much more comfortable on the ball than we were. I have mentioned before the necessity to get back to and improve the basic skills and their control, passing and speed were mostly very superior. How a player who seemed unable to take decent corners or free kicks got the man of the match award mystified everyone - dont they practice these things on our own pitch?! Attitudes didn't extend to Westwood, who seemed to have to be substituted again to prevent being sent off - what a waste of any skill he might have. Not as annoyed and disappointed this morning as I thought I would be, but we surely should be able to get closer to teams like Coalville in all departments than we did last night?

Have to say i'm not that disappointed either. Yes, defensively we are still awful, but the effort from the whole team was commendable. After conceding 2 early goals heads could have dropped, yet we kept trying to play decent football and matched them till the 3rd on the stroke of half time. Simply, they were just a very good side. We should have had a penalty and had some other good chances, it could have been much closer. That said we will constantly be chasing games if we don't sort out our shocking defending.

A team with low confidance prone to mistakes around the 18 yard box Vs an organised powerfull confidant team. There was only going be one result.
