match off. Sensible decision IMHO..... whilst the pitch is draining well there is little point in damaging the surface especially as the rain is forecast to get worse not better over the next few hours

The pitch is looking as good as it has done in years, so well done to all concerned in that regard. It would be a shame to ruin all the pre-season work and cut the pitch up in a mud bath - correct decision made.

Shame it derails our preparation in what would have been a solid test. Will this match be re-arranged?

Between tonight's fixture being postponed and Kiddy fielding their kids on Saturday, it's not ideal preparation for the season, is it?
