However many we're short by (if any), I am more than happy to put my name down to purchase them, so this gets ordered. Genuine comment.

Great gesture. They'll sell though. Especially if they are plugged at the friendly on Saturday.AwayDayYeltz wrote: ↑01 Jul 2019, 14:01However many we're short by (if any), I am more than happy to put my name down to purchase them, so this gets ordered. Genuine comment.

Re: Retro Shirts
What would be funny would be if the retro shirt sold more than the party hat equivalent

Re: Retro Shirts
I would love to see that. I'm sure Andy would too!
I'm actually surprised at the apparent popularity of the new badge. I've made it clear, I don't mind it. But I do see the odd comment on Twitter, from those who really prefer it to the original badge.
The Tweets I see supporting the old badge do outweigh the support for the new one. It's definitely not equal!

Possibly. Bit difficult to judge that. Society in general is a complainers forum and people generally dont like change. Id guess most folks aren't that fussed. Im certainly not. Does anyone bother about Albions old badge now?? Will anyone be that bothered in 10 years if we still have the current one?AwayDayYeltz wrote: ↑01 Jul 2019, 17:32I would love to see that. Re: Retro Shirts
It's a solution that should keep everybody happy. Andy and friends get a shirt with the old logo whilst the club get a nice little boost in sales. I'm quite pleased the existing shirt lives on for another year- it's one of the nicest we've had in many a year.

I'll rephrase...will anyone other than Andy, who's driven to the depths of despair, be bothered?andy wrote: ↑02 Jul 2019, 07:00Yesdrummyb wrote: ↑01 Jul 2019, 19:44Possibly. I'm still going to hazard a 'yes'. The badge on the shirt is of a rare type. It does not sit in a shield or a circle, it is its own shape. It has meaning and relevance. It is totally unique in its appearance, it doesn't conform to any stereotype. To lose it completely would be a crying shame. It WOULD be missed. Well done to the club for not letting it die. I would still not see a problem in the club using both crests on any future designs, club signs, programmes, websites etc.
