Ben 10. The player, days before his wedding, who chased down a lost cause, when we were 3-0 up, and got a ball smashed in his eye. Brilliant work ethic and attitude.

Now I know he only played ten games for us but surely Troy Deeney deserves a mention! And yes, I am writing this as he has scored again (twice) in the Prem tonight!
A club great in terms of the career he has gone on to have??

I think he deserves a spot just because he hates Villa.Johnny Bud wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 20:31Now I know he only played ten games for us but surely Troy Deeney deserves a mention! And yes, I am writing this as he has scored again (twice) in the Prem tonight!

Left back has been mentioned a few times. If we were to play 442 David Perputini was quality- but then again most of the ones promised £*** a week by Mr M were. Shame they never got paid...

Re: Club greats, who's next?
I have to say, as we are just picking a 'best' players for this century due to lack of legends, that is a damn good team. One question though. 3 forwards and still no Ben. Seriously? Look forward to others versionsJohnny Bud wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 21:28For this ‘century’ (all out attack):

Re: Club greats, who's next?
Pretty well nailed it there Mr Bud. The only suggestions that I would make is Nick Amos in for Jay Denny (weren’t he and Darren Caskey in the same England U17 team?) and Nick Bussey in goal for entertainment value.
Maybe add Neil MacKenzie or Lee Williams to the bench? Possibly leaving Kristian and/or Stu Pierpoint out to make room.
As good as Ben was for us, I don’t think he had the quality of Stefan Moore or Troy Deeney. Having said that if we ruled out loan signings, he would make the team ahead of wooden horse
