Jordan Goddard

Post by piearce9 » 22 Oct 2018, 18:33

Has tweeted a farewell to the club.

Joke, really. A good player who can play football left on the bench for a couple of cloggers.

Not surprised tbh. As you say sees others come and go and play that are not as good. :-\

Was only a matter of time until this happens. Feel this will come and bite us on the bum. How we can let a player of his quality leave is beyond me.

What a shame, but as Andy said not surprised. Severely under used, why? Answers on a post card, please.

Another talented player to add to a lengthy list that have moved on when perhaps we should've kept them...

All the best to him. I'm sure, no, I know he will flourish at his next club.

Needlessly frustrated.

Totally agree with you josh a good lad with a good footballing brain.. Good touch.. Wants to get the ball down and play football. Seems not to fit into managers plans....
Good luck to you Jordan at your next club....

A great loss to the club but, considering that he couldn't kick the ball high in the air and regularly get yellow cards, he was useless to our present tactical maestros!

We could no doubt field a competitive side, which is selected from the talented players we've let go over the last 6-12 months!

Great programme notes by John this weekend on those who have left the club. Proving that fans don't always know the answer to 2 + 2 or that maybe joining their dots is more scurrilous to some.

Look forward to reading that. Still quite hacked off about Goddard getting no look in (this season and last). Serious lack of attacking options at the moment, leaving us very exposed for a big game on the weekend. Anyone know if Hughes is banned for it?
