The Owens have if they just see us consolidating in this league then they will

I think you meant owners - didn't think I had that power.
You are correct. I did mean owners apologises. Unless there is somebody called the Owens who can help us out.

Just watched the highlights on Yeltz TV.

Just wondering what people at the game thought about the artificial pitch?

I’m generally in favour of them in general at our level, and from what I could tell it seemed to play well. However I wonder if it contributed to Platty’s injury (hard to tell from the video)?

Apologies in advance for opening a can of worms :D

P.S. Thought it was hilarious Hughesy twirling his cap after making a save near the end ;D

I can see why they are appearing more and more, and for training on they're great but I've never been to a game on 3/4G though and came away thinking, "What a great game of football". On a dry, warm day like yesterday the ball doesn't seem to move around quite so quickly and if anything seems to slow the game down. On a wet pitch the ball does zip around better, I suppose similar to grass really in that sense. I'm not sure if the pitch was a contributory factor in Platty's injury to be honest - he just got clattered when Isedyn was going for the ball.

Don’t like them and they can’t be good to play on. Sadly becoming increasingly popular as they’re good for revenue.

Agreed. I've yet to see a decent game on one. The ball just does not bounce true.

I can't recall the last decent game involving Halesowen!
