Re: Barwell Updates
What I saw last evening was 11 players worth supporting for the effort they put in we are just not good enough and that in this instance is no criticism of anyone I was quite impressed as I say with the effort and application shown but sadly and understandably I don't think this will be enough in and of itself to prevent relegation or silence the understandable and correct my view clamour for change. That said I think it important circumstances whatever they may be are established and sorted out before bringing someone new into the club's who may not be fully aware of the circumstances and have them find out and risk denting the clubs reputation further.

Re: Barwell Updates
What's the point? It's not about the football anymore, is it?
It doesn't matter if we win 5-0 or lose 5-0 my feeling of apathy remains unchanged. I don't cheer when we score nor am I bothered when the opponent scores. Football shouldn't be like that.
Me and I'd say with almost certainty the majority of what's left of our fan base want certain people gone - as has been discussed for many months now - but we all know it won't ever happen, no matter how bad it gets, or how badly the attendances continue to dwindle.
The lack of willingness to change things is killing mine and others' enthusiasm of what was once an enjoyable and friendly club to follow. The club is anything but friendly and enjoyable. It's a hollow shell of its former self. It's dying - in fact, it may already be dead...
I want our old, fun, friendly and enjoyable club back.

Re: Barwell Updates
If, as we all suspect , there will be no change in the structure of the club then maybe we should go back to what matchday is about.
A few beers, banter with friends, watch a game, more beers then FORGET the politics and get on with life.
Hard to do for most, but why cause ourselves anguish when the fate of the club is out of our hands?
I'm now past the point of caring to be honest.
Cheers - mine's a 'Golden Glow!'

Too many 'Golden Glows,' probably.
Besides that - I'm old and really don't give a s**t!

Bathams all day long long for me.
Isn't this better now we're all playing nicely. Could there be bigger attendances in the eddy than the Grove in the weeks to come?
