Dusty the Dog

Post by CRHTheTog » 06 Apr 2017, 15:56

I'm sure you will have all seen by now, the footage of Dusty invading the pitch on Saturday. This has provided the club with some fantastic media coverage across the UK - highlighted on ITV National News, Midlands Today, Central News, TalkSport to name a few - but also across the world with the club receiving requests from Fox Sports News and other outlets in the US, Australia, South Africa and many more!

The excellent video by the boys at Yeltz TV as of this moment has been viewed almost 65,000 times and a video that Match of the Day posted on Facebook has had over 2 MILLION views.

Great to hear our fans last night at Hednesford giving us a chorus of "who let the dogs out" and "we love you Dusty, we do".

Here are some links to some of the news coverage:

Brilliant. Who needs a cup run to get noticed.
Ferret running around in his hi vis was almost funnier than the dog.

Asa must be gutted. In his spells with us over the last dozen years or so he must have been named man of the match about a zillion times. I bet not once did it cause ripple beyond Colley Gate. Now bring the dog along.........

Anyone else getting bored with the dog stuff all over the media? Funny at first but it's being milked beyond all reason now, still we have had plenty media attention this season with the dog, shoots wife tweet & FA charges ( I suspect more of that to come) it's just a pity we can't seek media attention for being a well run , successful football club.
