Today is the day when Worcestershire cricket returns to Stourbr*dge Cricket Club. After very hard work to return the ground to a required standard, today Worcs 2nds start 4 days of cricket against Durham with 2 T20 matches that begin at 11.30am and 3pm.
It's a very long time since Glenn Turner scored his century before lunch .....

one of the Warwickshire ground staff is in a ex yeltzman Ben Smith I believe his name is. No relation to the current captain of Himley and former county player for Leicestershire and elsewhere of the same name.-

Even later to this so apologies also,does anyone remember when Worcestershire were due to play a List A game
at Old Hill in Botham's day and it sluiced down all day, and the same night Yeltz were due to play a friendly against
Man UTD. XI and Colin Gibson was playing with the Kids?

Yeltz Worcestershire fans will be glad to know that there is a 2nd XI FIXTURE SCHEDULED for the War memorial Ground later in the season at Stourbr*dge will have the details soon hope to see a few familiar faces there.
