Re: Tamworth Updates
Puzzled why pitch (our green grass of home) has been replaced in my previous message, a subtle meaning I don't understand? Anyone explain please.

Re: Tamworth Updates
There must have been some hilarious reason why I did this in the past, but I honestly can't remember now.
Also, I can't be arsed to change it back.
My advice would be to embrace it.

Re: Tamworth Updates
its not you Doc, mea culpa.
There was a while (2-3 years ago) when the playing surface at The Grove was less than perfect and there were numerous comments on here about it. There was a suspicion at the time that the football authorities were taking an interest and therefore some supporters were told that it it might not be a good idea to post on that subject. Hence I changed the site's profanity filter to not-so-subtly insert asterisks into the offending word (the same principle applies to the name our dear neighbours of course)

Re: Tamworth Updates
I should have gone for my other standard excuse.
"It's Noggin's fault".
I might launch a campaign of starring out random words.
I think I'll start with R*****.

I think I can crack your code.
One is a person who has given me real joy throughout many years.
And I married the other one.
(I'm sooo brave, knowing that she would never come on here...)
