But take H and V for example, the Villa site. It's exactly the same, people post far more after a defeat than a win. It's the same everywhereRaidenYeltz wrote:More people post when we lose than when we win! Shocking!

Exactly. People aren't goinu to post or read a post that simply says; 'good win, we played well'. Also when someone posts negatively it tends to bring a response so a debate breaks out. How many people respond to a positive post?

Re: Nantwich Replay
on a lighter note for those who did not travel on Tuesday, we learnt two new refereeing rule changes.
1. If a player is blatantly tripped in the box it is not a penalty unless he goes down like a sack of spuds !!
2. Goalkeeper handling outside the box is now only a yellow !!

Re: Nantwich Replay
Goalkeeper handling outside the box has never been an automatic red. Only if he denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity. Dare I mention the name " Solly" at this point...?

Surely whenever a GK handles outside the area, he's always denying a possible goal scoring opportunity? The Reasonable Man wrote:Goalkeeper handling outside the box has never been an automatic red. Good try TRM
Another one for the good folks of B63 to think about. James Dormand in the first minute of the abandoned SPL play-off against Chippenham. Took the ball inside the penalty box, skidded and came to a halt well outside.

Everything that happens on a football pitch is a possible goalscoring opportunity (in theory). But the word here is OBVIOUS.RaidenYeltz wrote:Surely whenever a GK handles outside the area, he's always denying a possible goal scoring opportunity? The Reasonable Man wrote:Goalkeeper handling outside the box has never been an automatic red. ...and beaten by Stourbr*dge. Every bloody year they get a cup run. That's another £12500 in the bank for them. What we wouldn't give just for one first round appearance, 12 years and counting now.

Best chance we've had for a long time.andy wrote:...and beaten by Stourbr*dge. Every bloody year they get a cup run. That's another £12500 in the bank for them. What we wouldn't give just for one first round appearance, 12 years and counting now.
Sounded like Stour battered Nantwich, too.
