That was an insipid display after the optimism of Monday. They took the goals well and we didn't have the energy and guile to break them down. They were deserved winners and we barely threatened.

Who gives a sh*t, we beat Stour and we're safe from relegation, comfortable in mid table, the season is over and the players are on the beach!

Our pitch looked quite good - hardly a beach!

Not sure what problem the bald linesman had in the second half, swearing back to fans and shooting his mouth off at every opportunity and then some kind of heated debate at the end in the centre circle

True, but beating Stourbr*dge last week was the pinnacle of our season, we're *all but safe* barring some freak set of results between now and the end of the season.andy wrote:.......unfortunately though there are still FOUR matches left!dalevillain wrote:Who gives a sh*t, we beat Stour and we're safe from relegation, comfortable in mid table, the season is over and the players are on the beach!
It was the same last season, once we'd got to 50 points and won the derby the season was pretty much done and dusted.
Disappointing about the attendance, back to normality after the mammoth game last week. I can't say too much though as I did come past about 3.25 and thought about popping in, but decided against it. Didn't sound like I missed much though.
