Re: Nantwich Updates
Open offer is there, Steve. But going on your Eastwood history, I expect to see your head in the sands.
Just to reiterate I'm in the Eddy post KO. Talk to me.

Yes, 12 months ago we had a dreadful end to the season, and the same is happening again. I don't like the tone of Steve Lynch's post to Raiden, I'm not sure that's an appropriate way to be talking to a paying fan. If that is the way people are going to be treated I will consider only attending away games until the situation changes.welshyeltz wrote:It's now 12 months since we looked to play well and win . Josh is right , and we raised the matter last year. The fans have kept coming and our gates have remained high relative to others in the league yet all we hear is 'poor us' .
I said 2 months ago that we would struggle to make 45 points and would see players leave to reduce wage bill.
The lack of results at the end of last season led to poor support at the beginning of this ; next year will be the same .
All we expect is to be competitive and stay competitive , if we then win lose or draw then, as a supporte,r that is fine .Wqhen you expect to lose every week that is frustrating and leads to people like Josh getting pissed off by it all. Rant over!!!!
It's not fair to have to keep watching that rubbish and be told everything is ok and that in the manager we trust etc. That was dire this afternoon. No effort or any team morale and to pay and watch that is a bit hard to stomach. It's hard to associate with that team today

Steve , are you looking to alienate your team's loyal fans or are you seriously trying to reduce your gate to below 100 ? Cos you're going the right way about it.

No I'm there nearly every home game never ducked any questions asked but josh never once has come to me and said or asked anything he is happier to come on line and slag me off rather than coming direct and saying anything. Last weekend me and my 2 lads and Ant were working for 2 hours to try and get the Salford game on fighting a losing battle the game is off and within 5 minutes Josh is on the internet slagging off the fact the game was off and we hadn't had a game for ages and it was strange we call off!
How would you feel?
Now he starts a lynchout on facebook which me kids see do you think it's right for someone to get personal like that?
I'm just as pis#ed off about the results and big enough to take criticism but I don't take personal attacks that upset my kids.

No I'm sorry, you are in a position of responsibility and can't talk to your 'customers' like that whether you are frustrated or not. You have absolutely NO excuse. You've had disagreements with me on here, saying you make the decisions etc. That's fine, but ultimately the fans will decide whether they want the manager to continue for example cos if the crowds dropped to 70 say, would you really ignore what's going on and say well it's ok cos I trust the manager? You probably think that would never happen, but leave things as they are, have us keep hearing about budgets, not change anything when the product is awful and abuse your fans and that is what will happen eventuallySccmkcyr wrote:No I'm there nearly every home game never ducked any questions asked but josh never once has come to me and said or asked anything he is happier to come on line and slag me off rather than coming direct and saying anything. The last few weeks / months have been sh** but whether you like Steve or hate him, agree with him or don't agree with him, he doesn't hide in the directors box. He stands on the terraces so if you've got anything to ask him just do it! You may like the answers, you may not.
Personally, I think we have a really difficult set of fixtures left. I think we may struggle til the end of the season but as long as we stay up that really is all we have left to play for.
And the players are trying even if things are going badly. Griff's respond to Raiden's Twitter post shows the players are feeling it as well.
Criticism hurts- maybe Raiden and Steve should have PM'd their thoughts but everyone is entitled to an opinion. We have a core of people working their 'bol***ks' off to make 'our' club better but it's never going to be easy...
