Working Party Saturday 13th June & Breakfast BBQ

Hi Guys,

There will be another working party at the Grove on Saturday from 9am.

Certain areas of the ground are slowly beginning to take shape in readiness for the new season, but still plenty of work ahead.

Weather permitting and as a small way of a thank you the Friends of the Grove Supporters Association will be cooking up some sausage butties for all present.


You are all welcome, and we hope to see as many of you as possible there.

May I ask, what time is everyone there till? I would like to contribute, but I have to work most Saturday mornings till about 12:00. If there are more people like me maybe an afternoon shift could be arranged!

There's quite a bit to do, so I would imagine there will be a few of us there until mid afternoon. If you want to give me a call to check we're there feel free. Obviously we'll be weather permitting for some jobs!

That's the irony, if it was pissing down I could give all day. Food for thought. By trade I'm a mobile car valeter and as such I have a decent jet wash, steam cleaner, chemicals etc.

Excellent to know mate! There are plenty of indoor jobs on our list so we'll be there pretty much until 3pm or so I would have thought...
