As well as they did for our club, I am over it already, they have gone, we should just concentrate on ourselves, JH is the man, and with Matty and the set up we have they will be an awesome team. I will see who we get as replacements, welcome them and get behind them. I support HTFC and whoever pulls on that shirt. Players come and go.

Good luck to both players in their quest for footballing happiness. I like both lads as people and footballers but they've made a decision to move on and I thank them for their efforts in a Yeltz shirt. I can't imagine for a minute they'll be as well thought of down there as they were here but that's their choice. The best way to show them what they're missing is when we play them.

Of course I'd like them both here to aid the continuity but I'm confident that John Hill will do what is required to help the team move forwards yet again. You'd think we'd just lost Cafu and Cruyff by some of the reactions on here and social media not Green and Tonks!

If you can't beat them, sign them. Eh Gary?

You will always find teams trying to sign loads of players pre season. They end up with a squad of 25-30 then suddenly have to release loads. Stour have signed Tonks in midfield, what have they done with their current midfield? Will Lait stop? Billingham to come back from injury. Canavan is a good player so is Will Richards. Fitzpatrick and Dodds were also there at the end of the season.

As for the defence, lots of competition there. Smile, Knight, Pierpoint, Broadhurst and now Green.

Look at Ben with Solihull, he was there with 4 other strikers but was guaranteed a starting place at Halesowen. Albeit he has moved on now.

That'd be an interesting change of heart - if either Tonks or Green phoned John and asked if there's still a space left, as Ben did a few years back!

I'm not good at interpretation, but, I'm sure Blatter has just stood down as president of FIFA because Tonks has gone ;)

Disagree, put Tonksy down at deep fine leg and he'll throw it right over the stumps. Can he bat though?

he'll be warming the bench for most games. They'll chuck him on to try and save the game with his throw-ins
