Did we actually offer them a deal for next season or anybody else for that matter ? Green could have played a league higher i really hope we can keep hold of Joe Hull at least we really need a few more warriors like him in the side

As mentioned, it's not so much they have left as of course players come and go but I think it's disappointing that they have moved sideways and to our local rivals, which makes it that bit more harder to take.

It's gonna make the next 'Number 9' derby that bit more spicier that's for sure!

This is not a criticism and I know Stourbr*dge have money behind them but does this just show who has higher ambitions?

One of two things have happened.

1 - Stourbr*dge have just thrown silly money at it. Then if they have good riddance. We don't want players here just for the money.

2 - We haven't matched Stourbr*dge's ambitions both short and long term and Tonks / Green wanted to move on to a team who will match their ambitions.

Those are the only two scenarios I see. I hope it's the former. If it's the later then questions need to be asked.

It can't be a case of neither. It has to be one.

Just playing devils advocate.

This is not about ambitions this is about a manager who is throwing money around to try and save his neck plain and simple. And when we meet in the derby I would bet neither player will still be there nor the manager

I don't know about you lot, but running through the photos on my HTFC calendar reminds me of the closing credits on Dad's Army.

I have no problem with players moving to play regular football or to better themselves .
However can someone tell me , if Stourbr*dge were to get promoted , would they be allowed to move up a league with there present ground ?

I've calmed down a bit now. No one is bigger than the club and Stourbr*dge could now field a team almost exclusively made up of ex Yeltz players
We now need to look forward and need confirmation that players like Sargent Joe Hull and Tilt have signed up along with a number of experienced newcomers with a history of playing at NPL or above. Must be ready by end of July and need a better 1st 10 games than last year.
Teams struggle in 2nd season due to players being in the public eye in 1st season and attracted by cash to move. Stourbr*dge used 50 players last season , Kris and Tonks could be looking for a game before Christmas
