Next 5 games:

Post by RaidenYeltz » 12 Feb 2015, 13:41

Looking at our next five matches;

Workington away - currently 2nd
Curzon Ashton at home - currently 7th
Nantwich away - currently 19th
FC Utd away - currently 6th
Ahston United at home - currently 5th.

This run of games will be a big indicator of where we are. Should we keep our good form going (We've lost once in 14 games (Marine at home) last loss previously was away at Buxton at the end of October.) then we will be in a great position to have a realistic and good shout at making the play offs.

Which would be quite incredible considering the start we made to the season and the critics the team faces early on.

I believe this group of players are more than capable of achieving the play offs, however I am more than happy to see Halesowen finish in mid tabled safety. That would still be a fantastic season for us and everyone connected should still be proud should that occur.

What ever happens between now and the end of April, this team has and will have done us proud.

Word from the Workington camp is that they're quite a few players down for this weekend's game, with a couple currently out through illness too. A club statement says that the situation has nothing to do with the appointment of two out-of-town chefs, a Mr. Thompson-Brown and his bearded sidekick, known only as "Banter Claus".

They always say that and then 'suddenly' appear.

I see that Jake has updated his twitter re his hamstring. Not good! :-\

Yes I am sure our management are taking this with a bucket of Salt.

Jake i assume is an injury doubt for us then? Although he had a good start at Stamford, the rest of the team have done the business without him. Aaron coming back from suspension gives us more options.

Lets GO, lets Enjoy, lets be vocal and any points we bring back are a bonus.

Noticed the Jake hamstring tweet was taken down, whether it was his own doing or from above not wanting to give the opposition heads up on any potential players out.
