Sad to see Macca announce his retirement, must have been a tough decision as he said he wanted to play on til 40.
Having seen him play early in his career at Stoke and seen his influence on some of the younger Yeltz players would be nice if he was to remain in the game in some capacity.

Re: Macca
Quite surprised at this decision and the timing. I still feel Macca has a lot to offer us. Not just in terms of on the field but the behind the scenes with his experience and banter with the lads.
I obviously wish him all the best for whatever he decides to do from now on.

Re: Macca
Just to echo what has been said previously, shocked that he has decided to call it a day at this stage of the season, thought he could do a job and his experience to the team was invaluable. Maybe yesterday's game proved it was too much for him.
Thanks Macca for everything you have done for the Yeltz and all the best for the future!
