This is our 28th year since rejoining th FA Trophy. Up untill this season in that period we have won a miserly 19 games. The late 80s/early 90s I remember were a particularly awful run of years. We finally got 'through' a round after a good number of years with a bye. After that the only highlights were a trip to Rushden and trip to Doncaster. Time to put things right!

Actually, just looked up our first stint in the Trophy between 69 and 75 and it reads even worse.
Played 7 Won 1 Lost 6

That period includes probably our worst ever from a playing point of view and post-war. We finished bottom of the league 2 seasons out of 3 in early 70s.

And we think the M**s*n/Ingram era was grim ::)
