Halesowen Chronic (le)

Post by old git » 28 Nov 2014, 16:42

What sort of idiot publishes this crap. :(
Almost a full back page on the B'ham Senior match which nobody was interested in (followed by highly enlightening match report of Hednesford's weekend match !!! ??? ) but a small inside back page report on 3 points at Trafford last Saturday :o

I always wonder what kind of press we get, as living in IKEA land i only get to see the online content of the Halesowen Papers.

I know Halesowen News always seem to use our pictures and give us a much improved write up from last season.

I get the Sandwell Chronicle freebie paper and there is nearly always a decent Yeltz write up.

As our Chronic goes straight into recycle bin. Not sure who reads it.

It really is awful. I read it and it went straight in the bin. It makes you think how accurate their other 'news' is.

The " Chronic" is a compilation of some pieces from the Express & Star of the previous week.
As this is a dingle based rag, anything south of Bilston gets very little coverage. They do, however, seem to extend their journalistic talents(?) in a southerly direction to report on the Gasboys. ::)

PS The cryptic crossword is rather good!

I tend to find they seem to do a 'copy and paste' job from our website match reports...
