FA Cup 2014/15

Would have been Grimsby away for us.

Stourbr*dge yet another lower side away in Norton. Good chance for them to reach the First Round proper.

The way the numbers are worked it's not as simple as looking at Guiseley and saying 'that could have been us'.

It would appear as though Stourbr*dge may well be about to go out to Shildon who play at the same level as Marske I believe so we could sympathise and say we know the feeling if we happened to feel that way inclined of course! ;D

Each team has their own individual numbers.

We would have had a different number to Guiseley, therefore we wouldn't have been drawn against Grimsby?

Wrong.

Can't be bothered to look back to previous rounds, but take the 4th QR and 1st Proper draws.

In the 1st round proper the 48 FL clubs will be numbered 1-48 in alphabetical order. Number 49 will be the winner of tie no. 1 in the 4th Qual, be it Spennymoor or Telford. No 50 will be the winner of tie no. 2 - King's Lynn or Fylde, and so on. The same principle works in every round.

Anyway, I'm not bothered any more...

Thank you for the rather arsey response.

Apologies for being misled, I was always under the impression the numbers were refreshed every round as I've always thought they were sorted alphabetically I.e Villa are always given number two.

Obviously only ever watch the third round draw.
