I think a shame. He has taken them to the highest level they have been. Losing to Coalville this season in the FA cup is not an issue.

I think he should have tried for a bit longer.

However, we don't know all his reasons behind his decision.

Can't believe he's quit. Thought he was a fighter. Ah well at least we've got management who are up for the challenge.

Got to be more to this I feel, don't know if the fans were getting on his back or issues with the board.

Always find it sad that a club can get promoted then barely 6 months later he gets sacked or leaves his post.

As already said we don't know what's gone on, John Hill turn your phone off!

Their must have been some pressure for him to quit, possibly on the pitch, in the dressing room or from the stands. He's worked hard to get them up to the Northern prem, can;t see why he would give up when the going gets tough

Read a few comments the other week about the team being booed off the pitch etc after a few games and the manager getting a lot of flack for the performances.

Im my opinion after a superb job he did at Belper everyone deserves at least a season. The highest level they have been.
