Northern Premier League Transfer

Post by swipey » 29 May 2014, 20:37

Thought I'd start a new thread on this because everyone seems excited...

Okay, we all now know the good news.
Surely, everyone must be happy with this?
Even better, Stourbr*dge are coming with us and Sprout's favourite place in the UK, Corby, are going elsewhere.

Going to be a wicked season!

What are your realistic expectations?

And don't forget beating Stourbrige. Twice.

On a different slant, what I won't miss is the following:

Newcastle Town's ground. That cycle track just sucks everything out of that place, be interesting to hear what their fans think about it
Rainworth. had the pleasure of their ground twice now, although Johnny Bud is understandably gutted...
Sutton Coldfield - to think I nearly started watching them 4 years ago when I lived there is unreal; frosty welcome and a plastic pitch. Don't care what G it is - led to believe there are artificial surfaces in the NPL?

Not aware of any 3g in NPL. Nantwich have one but for training and hire purposes.

I reckon we can finish in mid table or even above mid table. Beating Stour both times would be nice, but I'd be happy with one, especially if we win at Shamblecote!

We can talk , Mr Lutters, Yeltz 85 has n't updated the forum link from the Southern to the Northern. Instead I believe that he has gallivanted off somewhere to warmer climes. As bad as Johnny Bud going absent last season. Disgraceful.

Keep mentioning it but I've got the utmost belief in this team. I believe they can do anything they want to do at this level and higher.

Alcohol induced heart says win the league.

Sober heart says play offs.

Head says very comfortable mid table with an outside shot at the play offs.
