Yeltz Bar FC v Yeltz Legends
Can I just thank everyone who was involved in yesterday's game! I thinks it's fair to say a great day was had by everyone and we raised some money for charity and the football club. The money is still being added to so I will put a total on here ASAP.
Special thanks to Sheila Bradley for all she did, Matthew Parker for presenting the shield, Ryno for organising the legends, all the players (on both teams), the Russell's for their photography skills and everyone at HTFC for allowing us to use the pitch, kits etc.
Also thanks to Scouse for doing our presentation- Yeltz Bar FC's number one fan, and Trevor Burroughs for playing for us!
Hopefully this will become an annual event and more of this year's team will be playing for the legends- as Asa Charlton and Mark Danks did yesterday!
And the score was Yeltz Bar FC 0 - Halesowen legends 4

I popped down for the first half and say well done to those who organised, as it was great to see some of the old players in action (I'm using the term "action" very loosely, by the way!).
Would it possible for someone to tell me who all the old boys were? It was hard to recognise a few of them with an extra ten years!

I was most disappointed Mr.Bud didn't do match updates on here. It wasn't as if he was running around ;-)
Well done to all concerned, sorry I couldn't make it.

I spent most of the game building sandcastles in the goal mouths!!
And I forgot to thank Paul Keasey for providing me with lager during the game!

I'm reliably informed your performance was 'Fabien Bartez' likeJohnny Bud wrote:I spent most of the game building sandcastles in the goal mouths!!![]()
