Some teams in this league are closer to France than Halesowen!

Surely you have missed a 0 off the end of the Chips and ham figure?yeltz85 wrote:

Average would have been 367 in the north but distorted by FC United.
Worthy to note that we had an average of 375 this season, the fourth best already in the Southern League!

Do no Wolves fans attend Halesowen games? As I see it (I don't live in the area anymore but still attend Halesowen games when I can) but Halesowen is mainly a WBA/Villa supporting town. I am a Wolves fan that grew up in Halesowen and I have see several comments over the last few months that make me feel Wolves fans are not welcome at the Grove.AVFCYELTZ wrote:If we had 700+ Yeltz fans at every home game it wouldn't matter that there wasn't many away fans. As for going away, it was great going away and outnumber ing the home fans. No reason why we couldn't do it again. Get your pissed off Villa, Blues and Albion mates down there next season.

Mrc, you are completely mistaken. Don't matter who you support; villa, baggies, blues, dingles, anybody. We'll make anybody welcome at The Grove

I've spoken on here on a number of occassions about the fact that as a club, we should really try and target local people (who are falling out of love with the professional game) to get them down The Grove. The Villa, Blose and West Brom comment really was about how abysmal they have all been this season and we should tempt them to us for their a fix of football whilst they're slating their clubs. Wolves fans I guess will be feeling much more love for their club at the moment after last seasons success.mrc wrote:

It certainly wasn't my intention to not make Wolves followers welcome at The Grove. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned!

Re: Southern League Attendances
Spot on Rob. I don't care about who people follow as their showbiz club as long as they come and support us. My group at home games is a 50/50 split between Baggies and Wolves, good banter but the tie that binds us is the Yeltz.
If we can get an over 500 average next time out then that would be fantastic for us, I also hope that both derby games get 4 figure attendances as its good for both clubs and will raise the profile locally.

We already have a few Wolves fans following our club.
All are welcome to come and enjoy the Yeltz.
