Apparently they can not use their ground for some reason.

Good news for our catering manager and the bar takings too.

I realise I may be taking this a little too seriously and we should just be able to enjoy the occasion on Saturday. However there could be an important aspect to this game in that now that we have won the league more or new people may come down to the Grove and have a look to it could be important in my view that we play well and impress with an eye on attendances for next season. Sorry if I'm being too serious about what should be a great occasion for the club.

I think you're right in what you're saying.

But I don't think either set of players will take this game 'too' serious after a hard season and winning their respective league.

I think and hope it will be a bit (a lot) of a party atmosphere and both sets of players will play without nerves and a lot of freedom. Could be a cracking game of football due to this.

Maybe that'll get people interested even further! :)

I can't see any team of John Hill's not going out to win the game, especially, as you say there is a big crowd there to watch. Curzon Ashton will be a good side, and I'm sure will want to come and spoil our party, remember we may well be playing them twice next season so we can't afford to take it easy.
Ultimately there is a trophy at stake on Saturday, two in as many weeks would be a great return for the season and shows potential players, sponsors and supporters Halesowen Town are back!

Don't get me wrong we ain't going to put in a half arsed effort. That isn't us.

I think it'll be a great game. Hopefully end to end stuff as the pressure is off.

I can see it being a 5-4 thriller.

Ground will be open from 12 with the trophy in clubhouse for those that want to have their pictures taken
With it. Then at 2pm the gathering for the team/fans photo in the shed end.
