I may be completely wrong about this but I was always under the impression that because Scarborough ground share with Bridlington at the moment and Bridlington is slightly further south than Scarborough that is why we have played Scarborough if Scarborough played in Scarborough I don't think we would play them. Hope that makes sense I may be completely wrong as I say but for some reason this was the impression I was always under.

It was said done to split Darlington and Scarboro up as ex league clubs they would both be easy champions and to give other clubs a chance with playoffs.
