Hi, I'll just quickly introduce myself.

I'm Jason, but everyone calls me 'Jay' or 'Twiggy'. I'm a Newcastle fan but like many of you on here, I am tired of being treated as a customer. I've been coming down to The Grove now for about 2 months and I absolutely love it! I'm usually dressed in all black apart from my Halesowen jacket or Parka and I'm 19. So feel free to come say hello!

I'm trying to get down to my first away game at Coalville tonight but I don't finish work till 5:30 and can't set off till 6. I was wondering if anyone knows what the traffic's generally like at that time? I'm from Quarry Bank so I think it's M5-M6-M42-A42. It's meant to take an hour but I don't want to risk missing any of the game!

Thanks in advance and look forward to hopefully seeing some of you down there!

Cheers.

Hi Twiggy,

Cheers for introducing yourself! You are more than welcome to come say hello and stand with us behind the goal. We should stick out a mile off.

I wont be setting off till about 6pm either tonight and should only take an hour even with traffic.

This is the route I was going to take tonight,

See you there mate!

Hi Guesty,

Yeah that'd be ace, thanks! I come to most games by myself and will be tonight so it would be good to make a few mates. All being well I'll be doing all home and away games next season so hoping to become a regular!

Ahh nice one, cheers for the help.

See you there!

Not ideal missing some of the game, but I'm sure you get let in, even if you turn up at half time!

Hello by the way :)

Major accindents and road closures permitting leaving at six you should still be in the ground for kick off.
There are other options if M42 A42 has issues.

My memory from last season was the food was not up to much. Stand to be corrected by Wheels our chief taster.
The bar was a small room above the changing rooms and no signs as to where it is in teh ground.

Take pleanty of warm clothing as it is on the edge of town and they have a 10 ft chain link fence around 3 sides of the ground and the wind blows through.

Only me (Raiden and AVFC) in Limo junior no longer going. See you behind the goals lots of vocals. ;D o.K. more than normal. ;)
