Maybe not exactly like today's atmosphere but something close to today would be great. Besides Leek managed to do it themselves for the first 50 minutes or so

Absolutely buzzing!

I'm not going to mention individuals, as today was truly a team effort. Every single player played their part in some way. I also thought our crowd was brilliant and rose to the challenge of putting the lager swilling/spilling Leekies in their place in the second half.
There was a real buzz about the place today and I really hope some of those folk who came today come back next week as well. Could we even break 600 next week against Belper?
I honestly thought I'd seen the best of our lads in terms of effort, desire, passion and commitment this season but today they raised the bar yet again today. They were fully deserving of the ovation they received at the end.
Hopefully we can take a huge following to Coalville on Tuesday, let's keep the vocal encouragement going, altogether now...

What a great shift the lads put in today. It was always a must win game and we could have froze, but EVERY player was at it right from the start. Without a couple of great saves from thier keeper it could have been more, yet it took a good save from Sargeant at the death to give us the three points. Any neutral would have loved the atmosphere and the standard of football on show today, it was a credit to the league. I will be honest and say i did not think we would win today, so happy the lads rammed it back down my throat. IF we can avoid defeat on tuesday it will definitely be GAME ON!

keeper + back 4 solid nothing got past them all game apart from the chance at the end, midfield very good especially forde who was my MOM absolutely immense- tackling, simple balls and full of running, Christie good and haseley looked back to his sharp best

What a perfect day ! My lad loved being mascot, a massive thanks to the club, Guesty and everyone for sorting it and for the lads for dinging his shirt, a day for him to cherish for years to come as well as myself.

A fantastic gritty, spirited performance, we looked solid, worked hard and if we play like that week in week out till the end of the season we are going to be tough to beat.

The atmosphere was fantastic once we got started, I was a little embarrassed until we did get started as to be fair to the Leek fans they were making all the noise, fair play to us in the shed 2nd half for eventually winning the noise competition ! Let's try and do that every week and if someone does start us off then at least a few join in as that is sometimes what I fear when I open my mouth that I will be on my own !

Belper losing is obviously a big bonus, I urge anyone not sure about going to Coalville to just push yourself and go, I predict that if we can take a big number there we can really make a difference to our lads, it's going to be tough but these games are what it's all about, the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up already, the last time I felt like this was before Marske. Come on everyone let's follow our lads and bring the 3 points back with us. Up the Yeltz !

If you' ve never seen a "hard-earned" victory before - well, this was it. Up against a solid team and a dodgy ref, the effort the team put in was terrific, mixed with some nice bits of skill. First time I've seen Ford, some real positives including a terrific volley that deserved a goal, but a bit worried about the temperament. Unlucky to be booked but why risk a red with something silly like hanging on to the ball after the whistle? Have a word please John.

I am not exactly known for being 'friendly' when someone annoys me but I didn't find the Leek fans annoying at all. They came in big (ish) numbers, had all been on the beer all day and at no point was there a hint of trouble, they were loud, supported their team all day and reveled in it when they were joined by us lot in the shed. Yes, a couple of the kids got 'over enthused' at times but there was some good light hearted banter, there were 2 potential flash points, (1) when one of their lads was escorted from the shed for smoking, he just went (returned when he had finished) and the others allowed the steward to do his work, (2) when they started singing about Harry Rudge, as soon as the error of their ways was pointed out they stopped, imagine similar situations against most other clubs with a following (Kings Lynn, Gloucester spring to mind).

Without them, there wouldn't have been anything like the atmosphere something that has been an issue at the Grove for a while.As Dazza says, if someone starts JOIN IN!

On the pitch I think that was our best performance of the season.

Most of it has been said, but that was an excellent team performance yesterday and a step up from last week. Green was a well deserved man of the match and the defence was brilliant.They were only really breached at the very end when Sargeant saved well.
Christie led the line really well and there was much better interchange and passing all round. Forde looks like a useful box to box player if he can curb the occasional petulance. Tonksy put in a massive shift worth two games.
Despite some usual moaning about the ref, he did OK even if he was a bit showy. He also didn't give them a penalty in the second half when it looked like one.
