Eastwood, The FA and our club

Post by HalesowenHarry » 16 Feb 2014, 09:27

General question really to see how much the majority of us on here actually know whats happening towards the above three subjects.

Firstly, Eastwood Town. Most people know what has happened there but how comes no ones a bit worried about their reaction towards us, they have a forum I bothered to register, its worth a look

Next the FA. They must be doing something behind the scenes but more over when does the FA competition entries open for next season and more importantly will we be allowed in it?

And most importantly, our club, is everyone aware of how the club is run and who is putting the majority of the money in to run it?

I also saw Eastwoods attitude towards HTFC a few weeks ago and sent them a post defending our club, due to abuse from certain quarters i had to remove it within a short time BUT if anyone wishes to see that SOMEONE IS sticking up for HTFC i can forward a copy of my statement upon request.

Very intriguing read.

Without knowing the ins and outs from reading the posts on there, there seems a lot of finger pointing, a lot of blaming going on but no talk of how to pick up the pieces etc.

Seems strange, if similar was going on here I'd have thought and hoped instead of finger pointing etc there'd be a push to raise or attempt to raise the money needed.

Just find that strange. Regardless of the wrongs and rights of those involved.

The Eastwood business does seem to be the elephant in the room. But to be fair theres probably a lot going on I don't know or would not understand if I did. One thing that has to be said is that there people involved in this club who are actual fans and only want the best for the yeltz.

I don't care about Eastwood Town.
I don't care about their forum.

We will never know all the in's and out's about Eastwood. Do the posters on their forum know it all from facts?

Always easy to blame someone else.

I am a Halesowen Fan we have had our issues in the past few years.

Now
We have a good group of people at the helm of the club. Steve, Mike, Colin and Ken just to name a few.
We have a good management team on the pitch and players who are performing,
We have a good ground, nice bar and good refreshments.

If you are so concerned HH go and speak to Steve.

Well I have to agree with John C (for once) . I could n't care less about Eastwood Town or particularly what their supporters, what few there are, are saying about us. There's a much bigger rivalry down the road. If nobody knew what was happening at our club, well , anyone who read Capinjazzs' post , does now. I, in no way blame him for his post or pointing out a few facts. And finally HH you will have to explain why you think the events at Eastwood should have any effect on us being included, or not , in their competitions next season, because I fail to see its significance or relevance to us.

I, also, couldn't really care about Eastwood but at least somebody within the club has got the sense to tell the fans that we are not to blame and that they shouldn't really point the finger.

As for us, I'm not entirely sure how the club is run but I believe I'm right in thinking that the fans' community has a lot to say in what goes on. As for the money, I'm sure the supporters and the bar (on match days) makes a good chunk of it, the sponsors probably offer a fair bit for us. I imagine that Causeway United and Sporting Club Albion generate quite a bit of revenue for us.

Sorry, but i COULD care about Eastwood. We had a lot of support during our sorry plight and to just reject Eastwood out of hand is unkind. Thier fans are just as concerned as we were but may not have the good knowledgable people we had to pull them back from the brink. I too find it all very confusing regarding Steves involvement with the 2 clubs. I too hope that any action taken against Eastwood does not subsequently involve us.
